Member of the Brazilian Academy of Education, The Academic is the holder of Chair No. 11. He has a postgraduate degree in Economic Development by the ISVE/Italy, a postgraduate degree in Economic Engineering, an MBA in Finances, and he is graduated in Economic Sciences by the IBMEC. He is a specialist in Financial and Capital Market, Security (public and private sector), and Basic Education. Between October, 2010, and December, 2014, he worked as secretary of Education of the State of Rio de Janeiro. During that time, with FALCONI’s assistance, the state network under his supervision went from 26th to 4th in the IDEB’s High School ranking, with the 3rd better score. In 2012, he was elected Educator of the Year by the Brazilian Academy of Education, and in 2013, one of the 100 most influent persons in Brazil by Época Magazine. He also was the vice-president of Caixa Econômica Federal, integrating the Board of companies such as Vale and Petrobras, and the president of the Council of ANBIMA’s Fund Self-Regulation. Before entering FALCONI, he was the CFO of the Rio 2016 Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games.
